In April 2020 we lost our beloved Nanna Maureen from the horrid COVID-19 virus. Like for many families during that time, it was the hardest year.

Nanna loved a 'nice card' and had drawers and boxes of lovely cards she would send to people for all different reasons.

When I found out she had gifted all her grandchildren (there is a lot of us!) £50 I knew I wanted to do something in her memory. I designed and printed cards for all my close family and friends, to let them know we were thinking of them during the lockdowns.

Everyone loved them and I was soon receiving requests for more cards and suddenly The Little Card Studio was born.

Initially, card making was my hobby, my escape from COVID-19 and post-natal depression. Now, it is my 'proper job' and allows us to home educate our three children, all with additional needs, who were struggling in school.

I miss my Nanna so much, we talk about her every day, but she gave me the inspiration and the means to achieve the life I always dreamed of for my children and I will be forever grateful for this.

We were so lucky to have Nanna Maureen in our life and her love and memory lives on in every card we make.
